The Akiko’s logo is a visual embodiment of our brand—reflecting our values, mission, and personality
✧ Logo Design
Inspired by the elegant form of sushi, the logo mark symbolizes the dining journey at Akiko’s and creates a seamless connection to our name and purpose. Complementing the mark, our restaurant name is presented in Gelica, a distinctive sans-serif typeface that conveys modern sophistication. Together, these elements create a recognizable brand asset that captures the spirit of Akiko’s and strengthens its unique identity.
✧ Business Card Design
To evaluate which best reflects the restaurant’s brand image, I presented them in business card–sized frames set against a traditional Japanese pattern background.
After gathering feedback from three participants, I narrowed my exploration down to the top four logo designs.
✧ Final Logo Design
This is the final logo design I selected, as it most effectively represents a Japanese restaurant. The primary mark, paired with its vibrant orange hue and the chosen typeface, conveys a sense of luxury.
To further elevate the upscale feel, I incorporated a subtle Japanese pattern set against a black background, adding depth and sophistication to the overall design.

To visualize how the logo would perform in real-world applications, I created mockups for business cards, signage, and merchandise..
This process allowed me to assess how the logo maintains its integrity and impact across different formats, ensuring a consistent and cohesive brand presence.
✧ Interactive Menu
The restaurant’s interactive menu is designed to elevate the customer experience.
Guests can effortlessly browse dishes and drinks, explore detailed descriptions, and place orders directly from an iPad. This streamlined approach not only enhances efficiency but also provides a modern, engaging way for customers to connect with the menu.
